CSR in Our Research
One of the objectives of our school is to promote the development of knowledge in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. To this end, it brings together professors and researchers from Audencia and other institutions working in this field.
In close collaboration with companies and other stakeholders, research projects aim not only to develop theoretical knowledge on CSR, but also to help design and implement CSR approaches in the field, proposing appropriate models and tools.
Through this work, the School aims to participate in and contribute to the debate on responsible management and the challenges of sustainable development.
Our approach
Elements that define our approach:
- Multidisciplinary: Research projects mobilize various disciplines such as strategy, finance, entrepreneurship, human resources, marketing, supply chains, as well as various processes, whether managerial, economic, sociological, organizational, or philosophical.
- Local Roots and National and International Dimensions: Both our local roots and our international ambitions are reflected in our choice of topics and our fieldwork.
- Stakeholder Consideration: CSR research projects reflect the importance of considering and studying all stakeholders - both companies (large and small) and civil society, associations or government - to better understand CSR and its implications.
- Collaboration: The multidisciplinary nature of the business means that collaboration is essential. This is reflected in the projects and partnerships we develop.
- Action Research: this approach aims to gain a better understanding of practitioners' perspectives and to contribute to solving the problems being studied.
Research Topics
Audencia's research topics explore many areas directly or indirectly related to CSR, including sustainable development and business ethics. Each in its own way contributes to the development and thinking about the relationship between business and society.
The research aims to respond to three major challenges:
- Design and implementation of sustainable business and development models (in particular with carbon neutrality goals)
- Defining and adopting management processes that promote inclusive organizations and societies
- The creation and use of responsible technology and information
