A professional approach that is highly sought after by employers! The MSc in Data Science in Marketing is based on a teaching approach that balances theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The courses are structured around three dimensions:
- Methodologies: machine learning, deep learning, psychometrics, etc.
- Practical skills: programming in R and Python, use of XLstat, SPSS, etc.
- Applications: recommendation systems, development of appetence models, automated customer segmentation, etc.
Throughout the course, you will attend a wide range of talks given by experts, learn more about the concepts involved in real-life case studies using databases supplied by the School's partners, and take part in data mining hackathons.
On completion of the programme students can expect to achieve the following Key Learning Objectives:
Understand industry 4.0 trends and resolve modern day marketing problems by applying the principles of data science and algorithms.
Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of structured and unstructured marketing data, identify important KPIs and explore their value proposition towards digital transformation and overall corporate strategy.
Some of the key topics covered will include descriptive analytics, predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, consumer experimentation and psychometry, MIS, machine learning, big data and AI for marketing.
The MSc in Data Science for Marketing prepares you to provide data-driven insights related to data analysis and marketing decision-making. You'll develop strong data analysis skills as well as full technical skills in software, programming languages and applications, from programming in R and Python to automated customer segmentation. You'll also have the opportunity to work with real databases provided by Audencia's partner companies.

You'll learn about the challenges of ecological and social transition at the intersection of the natural sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences and management. Through immersive teaching, Gaïa relies on a network of partners, actors in the social and solidarity economy, NGOs, trade unions, public and private actors... to help you experience all the major dimensions of the ecological and social transition and to take action :
Year 1: General Management in Nantes
Sept-Jan: 10 advanced management courses
Feb-June: 10 courses in ecological and social transition management (at Ecole Gaia by Audencia, School for ecological and social transition)
July-Aug: Optional Internship in France or abroad
*Students who already have B+4 level can directly join Year 2
Year 2: Specialization in Paris
Sept-March: specialized courses in the field of the chosen Master of Science
April-Nov: Internship or Work Experience in France or abroad
Jan-Nov: Master's Thesis

You'll find yourself in a pre-professional situation similar to your 1st job. This internship is based on a strong involvement in the company, giving you real professionalism. It allows you to put into practice all the knowledge and skills you've acquired in the profession you're preparing for. This period serves as a stepping stone to your professional life.
Immerse yourself in an in-depth study of a topic related to your Master of Science. Both theoretical and practical, this dissertation allows you to highlight what you've learned and how you plan to apply it.
The program is based on alternating theoretical and practical sequences (face-to-face or distance learning) using business simulations, case studies and interactive lessons.

It is possible to transfer to a university or other business school (rare, but possible). Equivalencies are determined by the institutions to which you choose to apply.

After scheduling a motivational interview, you will go before a panel of judges to be evaluated on your motivation to join Audencia, your professional background, and your career plan.
Admission decisions are communicated to applicants on a rolling basis.
You should receive an admission decision within one week of the interview. There may be a delay during the holidays.
Congratulations! If you are accepted, you will be officially invited to join the program.
You will need to sign a contract and pay an initial tuition deposit of €4,500, which is non-refundable.
